About Omma

Before anything else,
this place has always been about care.
Before us,
it was looked after with dedication,
firstly by Mr. David, then Mr. Laborie, each of them quietly shaping the spirit of this house for decades.
When we arrived, we did not feel the need to reinvent it. Some places simply ask to be continued.
When Mr. Laborie handed us the keys, he simply said:
"Take good care of it,
this house is like my child."

We chose the name OMMA, which means "mother" in Korean.
Not just as a word,
but as a way of caring.
Caring for a place.
For the people who work with us.
For the seasons of the Luberon.
And for every guest who walks thorugh the door.
At OMMA, things remain intentionally simple.
A small house.
A few rooms.
A restaurant open to the red cliffs of Roussillon.
What matters to us is not to make things bigger, but to make them thoughtful.
We believe hospitality does not need to be loud to be memorable.
Sometimes it is simply about creating a place where people feel at ease.
OMMA continues its story
one quiet day at a time.
In praise of simplicity.
